GrabIt! for BookTrakker - Templates.                                                                                Index

Templates Tab. Create and manage Templates.

Templates are created by the choices you make on the Settings, BookTrakker, Formatting, Comments, BASIN and Set Prices tabs. It does not matter what Template you are on, if you change a default setting it will be automatically reflected on the current Template. Any changes take effect immediately. For this reason you should start by setting up a Master Template where you set universal settings, then copy from it to create New Templates.

A.  Template. The current template in use. Select from a list of Templates which one you want to use during any operation, such as ASIN/ISBN lookup, Repricing, BASIN matching or Amazon OLR. This list is also available on all of the operation tabs. Templates are composed of predefined qualifiers of data, found on the BookTrakker, Comments, Formatting, Set Prices and  Settings tabs.

B.  Description. Description of what the selected Template is supposed to do, limited by how you describe it.

C.  New Template button. Create a New Template. Name it, Describe what it does. New Templates are based on the Master Template. You should set up the Master Template to reflect the operations you will be using most of the time, so you won’t have to create each New Template from scratch.

D.  Copy Template button. Copies a previously defined Template. Select the Template you want to copy from the Template List, click Copy Template. You will need to Name and Describe it.

E.  Rename. Use this to Rename a Template.

F.  Delete. Delete the current Template.

G.  Go To Blank. Click to display the Master Template.

H.  Go To Default. Click to display the Default Template, which is what the program opens up to.

I.  Make Default. Changes the current Template into the Default Template.
